Sandeep obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India in 2004. He then moved to the United Kingdom in 2004, where he initially trained as a surgeon at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust before completing this radiology training at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (2016).
Sandeep is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) in the United Kingdom. He is a member of Professional Practice Committee of the RANZCR. He is an examiner in FRANZCR Pathology and OSCER panels. He is also a member of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Special Interest Group (OGSIG) of the RANZCR.
Sandeep has a broad range of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology expertise, with a special interest in
- Musculoskeletal and Sports Imaging
- Women’s Imaging (Breast and O&G imaging)
- Interventional procedures for diagnosis and pain management
Dr Tiwari has a keen interest in clinical education and training and has published several articles in peer reviewed journals.
On a personal front, Sandeep enjoys time with his family, cycling, travelling and playing tennis.
